Removing a sliding patio door is only moderately challenging but by using the tools and steps below you can remove one with little difficulty.
A glass patio sliding door is usually a single door that slides combined with another that is fixed.
Then tilt it slightly with help and remove it from the upper track of the door frame as well.
Remove the screw or screws with a philips screwdriver or cordless drill.
If the fixed side of the sliding glass door is held up by a metal strip that attaches to the door jamb remove it.
Located at the bottom of the stationary door is a screw or screws that secure the door to the bottom sill.
Remove the door by pulling it out of the top track of the door frame.
The door should slide right out of the top track once you ve freed it from the bottom track.
To remove an andersen stationary patio door you must first remove the sliding door as in the previous step and get a helper.
